The Hong Konger | 11" x 14" Matte Print
Hong Kong’s own Tower of Babel advertises popular colonial-era bars, restaurants, and clubs. Based on the October 2, 1995 New Yorker magazine cover by Edward Sorel.
Sophia started her series of illustrations as a parody of The New Yorker magazine covers. The collection has now grown and evolved as a way for her to express her experiences and observations of Hong Kong, the place her family has called home for over 150 years.
