Bring Hong Kong from day to night to your Christmas tree with this hand-painted nei hua glass bauble. The city skyline, a red taxi and a double-decker tram share the scene with a decorated Christmas tree beneath a deep blue sky.
Each glass bauble is hand-painted using the ancient technique of nei hua, also known as inside painting. Skilled artisans use a specially designed brush with a curved handle to draw the illustration inside the bauble. Some brushes have just a single bristle, and the process takes 24 hours to complete.
Day to Night celebrates familiar Hong Kong landmarks and transport at both ends of the day.
