Visitors are greeted by the iconic double happiness sign, a symbol of joy and unity. Our beloved sculptured couple stands proudly, representing love and togetherness. The Blue House, a historic landmark in Wanchai, adds a touch of nostalgia to the scene, while the old post office on Queens Road East and the Hung Shing Temple evoke the rich cultural heritage of Hong Kong. Everywhere you look, color abounds, and the spirit of this glorious place resonates with the pulse of the city.
Artisit:
Jules (julesymaria) is a Brit/Aussie artist who has been lucky enough to live and work in Hong Kong for many years. As part of herseries 'Circle City Scapes', she has focussed on drawing her favourite spots of Hong Kong. She stitch together the old and the new as well as the traditional and the modern, celebrating Hong Kong and all it has to offer. Each piece celebrates the diverse communities which coexist in this metropoulos, highlighting the rich pockets of life which we all savour. Each drawing takes about 30 hours to complete, and is created using Copic fineliners and alcohol ink markers.
