Stanley Waterfront- This piece pays homage to Stanley’s historic Fishing Market Village. Near the waterfront, you’ll find hidden gems like Bubbles & Wine, as well as the inviting Waterfront Promenade. Hidden within the bustling market are small temples of worship, their presence hinted at by the lingering scent of incense. Food has become an integral part of Stanley’s allure for tourists, from local eateries to a more international cuisine. More recently, charming boutique eateries have sprouted up, adding to the vibrant tapestry. The colours of Stanley are rich, lush, and alive. This drawing was created with fine liner and ink markers.
Artisit:
Jules (julesymaria) is a Brit/Aussie artist who has been lucky enough to live and work in Hong Kong for many years. As part of herseries 'Circle City Scapes', she has focussed on drawing her favourite spots of Hong Kong. She stitch together the old and the new as well as the traditional and the modern, celebrating Hong Kong and all it has to offer. Each piece celebrates the diverse communities which coexist in this metropoulos, highlighting the rich pockets of life which we all savour. Each drawing takes about 30 hours to complete, and is created using Copic fineliners and alcohol ink markers.
