Shek - O meaning “rocky bay,” is a picturesque peninsula on the southeast corner of Hong Kong Island. Locals and visitors alike flock to its golden sands, crystal-clear waters, and charming village houses. Whether you’re sunbathing on Shek O Beach, savouring Sunday lunches at Cococabana, or hiking the famous Dragon’s Back trail, Shek O is always a great little break by the sea.

Jules (julesymaria) is a Brit/Aussie artist who has been lucky enough to live and work in Hong Kong for many years. As part of herseries 'Circle City Scapes', she has focussed on drawing her favourite spots of Hong Kong. She stitch together the old and the new as well as the traditional and the modern, celebrating Hong Kong and all it has to offer. Each piece celebrates the diverse communities which coexist in this metropoulos, highlighting the rich pockets of life which we all savour. Each drawing takes about 30 hours to complete, and is created using Copic fineliners and alcohol ink markers.
