Today is a really exciting one for me as we launch The Home of Hong Kong Christmas: a space to discover all of our festive designs (including all the brand-new products for 2025! ) in one place.
When I founded The Lion Rock Press in 2013, no-one was creating Holiday gifts with an East-meets-West spirit. As a proud Eurasian, I wanted to bring together both sides of my heritage — blending Hong Kong’s culture and identity into the festive season, long before local Christmas icons became a trend.
I started with Charity Christmas cards, wrapping paper and gift tags benefitting Mother's Choice and then added hanging decorations. From our very first tram decoration to masked-up lucky cats, wild boars in Santa hats to glass pagodas, festive mahjong wrapping paper to wooden advent calendars and East-meets-West tableware, The Lion Rock Press has become synonymous with celebrating Christmas in a way that feels truly local and meaningful, while supporting Hong Kong artisans and family-owned small factories.
