🌏♻️ With World Environment Day earlier this week we thought it was a good opportunity to share what small things The Lion Rock Press does to make a bigger difference… especially as the theme was focussed on solutions to plastic pollution, a cause close to our heart.
♻️ all paper products are printed on FSC paper stock which basically means they come from responsibly managed forests to meet the highest environment and social standards.
♻️ all our paper products are fully recyclable - including our best selling puzzles.
♻️ we use plant based inks.
♻️ we avoid Single Use Plastic wherever possible and created a range of #noplasticmmgoi products including tumblers and champagne flutes!
♻️ we design and product sustainable wooden toys and products for children
♻️ if we use bubble wrap it is pre-used
♻️ for almost a decade we used only pre-used packaging to send out our orders and pre-used bags for our pick-ups, we are not able to do that now, but we use sustainably sourced and fully recyclable branded packaging with eco messaging!
♻️ we promote the use of reusable items, and encourage people to pass on the products they no longer use. Part of our strapline encourages people to share the products!
♻️ wherever possible, we use HK suppliers and production partners which supports the local economy and reduces our carbon footprint
♻️ we use our spare time to volunteer for beach cleanups and community education @ecodrivehk
